We are living in the world where every man dependent for his livelihood on others. In order to live in a stable way there must be a command ground of behavior among people. Hence it gives a birth societies where were tied among with each other with relationship. Many great people like Plato ,Aristotle and other Greek Philosophers observed and give ideas about communication in societies. So ethical codes were defined so that people may live or communicate in a way which is acceptable to the people.

As the time passed man developed and along with this development many areas of ethics were discovered. For example code of ethics for schools, business , workplaces, publishing, music, politics, religion, economics etc. along with other developments, technology also developed. By technology I mean computer, communication and networks and IT infrastructure. This era is dominated by IT and specially internet. That is the reason that all the areas had another look at their code of ethics. World has become global village and ethical issues are likely to be on the screen where different type of people communicating.
